Founders
As with any human undertaking funds are required to set-up and maintain any new venture. The St Maria of Paris School of Lived Theology therefore welcomes any and all contributions.
If you are able to give or pledge (this has tax advantages for you and us) a minimum of $250 you will be enrolled as a Founder of the School. All Founders will be included by name at each and every Holy Liturgy celebrated at the Mission.
You may wish to become a Founder in your own name or in the name of a loved one, living or departed.
If you choose to give your Founder offering in the name of someone departed a memorial service will be offered, on or near, the anniversary of death which you will be welcome to attend.
You may wish to donate for the general purposes of the School or for a specific aspect of the work of the School. The following are suggestions only.
Buildings Fund
- The School needs a community house for interns and others.
- This will cost $350,000 and upwards
- The School would welcome contributions to the outright purchase of a building or/
- A minimum of $100,000 as a down payment or/
- Regular contributions towards the rent of a property in the vicinity
Intern Scholarships
- The School seeks to set up scholarships for Second and Third World interns who otherwise would not be able to afford an internship.
- Such interns will especially benefit from the internship and will be able to make a valuable contribution to their local Churches.
Library Fund
- Every school needs books and other teaching and learning materials
- In our modern world computers are also an essential learning tool
- Basics such as paper and photocopying should not be forgotten!
