Internships

Length of Internships

Internships will normally last for one year.
The cost of an internship will be $4,200 (Canadian) per year ($350 per month)

Interns will either pay this amount personally or seek sponsorship.
Accommodation and board will be provided by the Mission and is included in the total cost.
Interns will be expected to provide their own medical insurance.
Interns will pay their own travel to and from Toronto


Commitment

Inner-city mission work needs a real commitment on your part. Whilst the School will ensure your health well-being with proper periods for rest and recreation, we do ask that during this internship you accept the need to be at the school and the Mission at certain times of the year.

These times include the Christmas Fast and Christmas itself (December 25th) and also the whole of Great Lent and Pascha.
Outside of these periods interns will be entitled to 21 days holiday during the intern year to be used by mutual agreement between the intern and the Principal of the School. Additionally interns can expect some time outside the City of Toronto.
